• Had been the leading Nephrologist at Cochin for last 22 years.
   

• Popularized early detection of chronic kidney diseases in mid Kerala, did the first kidney transplantation, first and maximum number Cadaver Transplantations.
   

• Early detection of Leptospirosis and prevention and complications of Multi Organ Dysfunction (MOD) was popularized through IMA, peripheral doctors and among the public by which mortality was brought down.
   

• In 2001 Dr.Georgy.K.Nainan along with his Nephro-Uro team restarted at PVS Memorial Hospital where Laparoscopic donor nephrectomy and kidney transplantation was introduced by the team. In the last 3 years more than 250 kidney transplantations (total of 750 since 1987) was done including one Cadaver kidney transplantation who has completed successfully 1 ½ years.
   

• Prime mover of a Society for Organ Retrieval & Transplantation (SORT), the only active society in Kerala, encourages the donation of organs after brain death.
   

• He is a Member of Indian Medical Association (IMA) and various National and International Societies and attends National and International conferences.
   

• Was awarded the Fellow of the Indian Society of Nephrology (FISN).
   

• Wife Dr.Mariam Roshan Zachariah is an Ophthalmologist and Proprietress of Roshan Eye Care Hospital. Has 2 children Ninan George and Roshini George.

Graduate in Computer Science, expert in Computer Programme. Very unassuming, but decidedly determined to help in a pragmatic way those who are lacking health in kidney diseases

Retired Finance Officer, Kerala State Handicraft Apex Society. Inspite of compromised health, she had been able to look beyond herself and reach a helping hand to those floundering in mind - sapping ill health.

As a journalist by profession, she has spent extensive years in the field of publication. With the aim of lending a helping hand to the society, tutored under Dr. Alex Mathew of ALMS in Christian counseling and with the Mar Thoma Guidance Centre in Ernakulam. She continues to be a member of their working committee.With the CKF, she is a part of its daily activities and meets with the patients and their relatives on a one to one basis, knowing them and their needs. She works in coordination with the other members of the foundation for its progress and development.
